Finally under way by 11.30 with lunch at Goolgowi and then onto Merriwagga for the night.
The cutout above is a tribute to Pioneer Women. Also Merriwagga claims to be near the original Black Stump and the hotel carries that name.
We are staying at the Old School camp site - the school closed in 2001 and then sold it in 2005 and left the classroom intact. Kel bought it & turned it into a van park with some cabins & an old museum.
