Day 18 - Ivanhoe

During last night Ken had a “dream” about checking the oil level in Izzy as he had not checked it since leaving home. Turned out that it was below the Min level and just touching the dip stick. Couldn’t buy any in White Cliffs so went on 92km to Wilcannia where we also filled up with fuel at a self serve  depot. Fortunately there was a man there and was able to buy oil. So all good now - Thank you God!

Left White Cliffs around 9.30 and had morning tea at Wilcannia.

 

The fuel depot was right next to the Darling river so Faye was busy with the camera.

After Wilcannia it was via the Cobb Highway and has a touring route called “The Long Paddock”.

Heaps of money has been spent sealing this road in recent years and they are nearly finished - about 3/4kms to go.

 

Arrived Ivanhoe around 3.30 and are staying in a small van park behind the servo.
