Day 36 - Robe

Had a great day around Robe - it was quite warm and the coastline around this area is very dramatic. Started the day having a quick look and then back to the main street for morning tea (where else but Robe bakery and coffee lounge).

The first photo is the lake behind our van and the 2nd Customs House - the type of construction seems very common on older buildings in this general area including the Church we saw a couple of days ago. The 5th is The Encounter Signal and the 6th the lighthouse. The Ice Cream shop was quite unique and we did visit it at lunch time!

Then did some of the coastal walk…

These rock formations are very photographic…



Photo 3 is the Blow Hole - very quiet today and Faye was still rock hunting. There were lots of Rock Pigeons around the rocks. 



The cloud formations were interesting and looked like rolling in.

The Obelisk certainly stands out and we had to walk the jetty. The last photo is the Old Goal ruins.

Then went to a lookout a few kms from town.

The 2nd one is zoomed in so we could see our caravan!

Tomorrow we plan to be at Casterton in Victoria so getting a little closer to home.
