Day 31 - Brown Beach near Penneshaw

Well this was our last full day on Kangaroo Island. Left Discovery Lagoon at 10am & then to Kingscote for morning tea and a visit to the Gift Shop so Faye could buy a shirt with KI on it. Ken had bought one previously so Faye had to have one too (she bought 2 - still less than Ken’s 1).

Then onto Brown Beach for the night which is only 10 minutes from the Ferry terminal for tomorrow morning. We have to check in by 8am. Several ferries were again cancelled today so they have advised that a decision on tomorrow will be made early tomorrow morning. Keeping our fingers crossed!

Faye had her last opportunity to collect more rocks….

And a while ago some wrens wanted to come along with us - 

When we arrived at Brown Beach went to open the van —-but no keys to be found!!  Fortunately we carry a spare set - must have lost them in Kingscote somewhere. Rang our caravan park, the bakery, the gift shop & the Police but no trace of them. So will need to get more cut…

Tomorrow the plan is to stay at Goolwa provided our ferry runs.
