Stayed around this general area today with the first stop at Emu Bay Lavender Farm for morning tea. Lots of people there seeing it was a wet day. Their speciality is Devonshire tea with a HUGE lavender flavoured scone.
Faye couldn’t eat all hers and neither of us thought much of the lavender flavour both in the scones and jam.
Then a quick look at Emu Bay…
You can drive 4km on this beach but today wasn’t the day for it!
Saw a road “Wallaby Way” so went that way to the Bay of Shoals…
This is just across the bay from Kingscote which was where we then headed. First stop was their recently painted silos…
It was raining again just after we took the silo photos so had a look around the shops - only purchase was at a gift shop - then a drive around the foreshore.
Bought fish and chips for a late lunch back at the van.
The sun is now shining.
