Before we left town this morning had to visit the Newsagency as they have a special room “The Burg” which houses a model railway of Peterborough and murals of its history.
Faye found a friend!
Then onto Jamestown for morning tea at a very historic bakery which opened in 1880 and has operated continuously since then.
Jamestown have an annual mural painting festival - here is just a few…
Then onto Port Broughton for lunch just as it started to rain. Next stop was Bute where there are painted silos which were only completed recently.
And some close ups…
Rain held off as we took the silo photos but then came again as we travelled to Wallaroo where we are staying 2 nights. Park is on the Spencer Gulf. Got set up without getting too wet.
This was the first rain of our holiday and the first in a caravan park. Nice to be able to use the air con!
