The country changed today as the hills came back!
Arrived at Peterborough around 10.30am and as you will see this town is all about trains as it was and still is the towns biggest employer. As well as a junction for several train lines. In the early days there were around 80 trains a day but now about 8/9. First stop was the Tourist Centre to book for a sound and light show at Steamtown tonight and a day tour this afternoon.
Then coffee called and some food replenishment from the supermarket and to top up the water in the van as tonight we are staying at a free RV camp near Steamtown.
We have just done a tour of Steamtown and the following are just a few of our photos…
Not sure whether Faye enjoyed it too much but she was very gracious about it!
The light show is tonight so will put some photos of that up tomorrow. Destination for tomorrow is Wallaroo on the Yorke Peninsula.
