We have been to Broken Hill many times so did not look around too much other than domestics with the van and then had morning tea at the Tourist Centre.
The tourist people gave Faye a map of where we could find some Sturt’s Desert Pea flowers. That was something that Faye really wanted so found 3 lots of them….
That made Faye’s day! The Hill is a very nice town, even with all the mining and it’s history.
Then off to the South Australian border for lunch and the compulsary photos as we changed states and time. Our phones changed time as soon as we crossed the border!
Then another 110kms to Manna Hill where we are camped in a rest area.
The hotel is next door so visited them to get some afternoon eats and ice cream for later. As can be seen trains take an emphasis as it started as a railway town and still is.
Some other photos in the hotel…
Tomorrow to Peterborough.
