Day 11 - Farrell Flat

A much warmer night last night and a slow start for us today. First up did a walk to the shore where it was low tide. Then left about 10.30am - first stop was at a nearby lookout over Ardrossan  and a dolomite mine.

Then into town for the now compulsory morning tea at the local bakery!

Il

Had a look around town and always things to photograph.

The next stage saw us leave the Yorke Peninsula as we moved around to Port Wakefield.

A quick bypass into Price where there us still a salt factory and a pink lake.

The last 2 photos were at a rest stop - last time we were there was nearly 20 years ago and Faye sat on the emu for a photo - but refused this time!

Fuelled up and then to Locheil for lunch at another pink lake and a visit by the Loch Ness monster…

Then across through Clare and a visit to Woolworths for food and then another 19km to a small town - Farrell Flat where they have a painted silo…

Staying here tonight at the local oval which today is the eating place for sheep.

Tomorrow the plan is to Owen and 2 more painted silos.
