Left Comet around 9.30am and came through to Emerald. First up here are some birds - the 1st three on the rail overheads and the others at Clermont.
Had morning tea at Emerald next to the Giant Easel.
Emerald seems a nice town and there were caravans everywhere. The shopping centres - the petrol stations - the streets all were full of caravans. Never seen so many at one time.
Next stop was Capella for pit stop and to check out their Light Horse memorial…
Lunch was at Clermont next to their lagoon…
Anyone play the piano - just climb the tree!
They have murals on rail cars…
Then it was 200kms to Belyando Crossing where we are camped at a clearing with 2 other vans.
Tomorrow we go through Charters Towers and will stay somewhere north of there.
