The baby galah in the 1st photo had just come out of the hollow nest behind it and the magpie was eating some breakfast at our door!
Tonight we are in Newbridge alongside the Loddon River.
First stop today was at Rochester where there are painted silos (we had seen these in 2019) and also for morning tea.
Rochester has an annual mural painting festival so many murals are around. These are some of the ones that were winners and alongside the road.
The cycling sculpture is of Sir Hubert Opperman who was a famous sportsman and politician. He was born in Rochester.
Next was to Colbinabbin where they have recently painted several silos covering the history of the town. We have included several photos that cover all the silos.
Bought lunch at the General Store and then to Redesdale to check out a painted small water tank...
Had fun getting across country and around Bendigo (google maps was trying but we had to ignore it a few times). Ended up almost in the centre of town but eventually found our tonight at Newbridge.
Tomorrow we should be at Sea Lake after more silos!
