We did a loop today and we will cover in the order we did it...
First up we took a back road along the Murray on our way to our first painted silo...
The next stop was at Picola where a painted silo has just been completed recently. It was painted around the silo so more photos than usual. In our view it was the best one we have seen as it looks like 3D in the flesh...
Next stop was Nathalia where we had morning tea at the local bakery and then a visit to the Barmah Forest Centre which we found very interesting as the history of the area was explained.
The Picola silo covers the Barmah Forest and its wildlife. The Superb Parrot on the silo is endanged.
Next stop was to Kyambra where a water tank is currently being painted...
Then to Tongala where murals are featured. Had lunch there.
The Anglican church had murals with biblical themes...
Finally back to Echuca where we had a look around the Port (and an ice cream!)
Back now resting! We leave here in the morning with 3 more painted things tomorrow. Not sure where we will end up but most likely Newbridge.
