Day 2 - Macquarie Woods, Vittoria State Forest

A nice quiet night at Bylong - the only noise was coal trains in the distance on their way to and from Newcastle.

Then travelled the Bylong Valley Way which was very picturesque and a lovely drive. Morning tea was at Rylstone.

Then onto Sofala which is very old and one of the oldest gold towns in Australia...had lunch there after a walk around the narrow main street.

Next stop was at Bathurst and Ken had to do Mount Panorama AGAIN.

We were able to get No 1 spot on the starting line!

Then 25km to Macquarie Woods where we are spending the night.

Tomorrow we should be at Harden where there is a brand new painted silo...

And today we received our permit to enter Victoria.....
