Day 12 - Casterton

A slow start from Goroke where we were camped next to the sports area. Only  1 other camper last night.

A nice drive (with no traffic!) to morning tea alongside Lake Wallace at Edenhope...

Then to the shops to top up food and more bird murals uptown. It seems to be all about birds through this mallee area.

The last 2 photos are for our son Matt who works in cricket!.

We were intending to go to Nelson today but had lunch alongside the Ess Lagoon at Casterton. Was very nice and camping is allowed so decided to enjoy tonight here and to Nelson tomorrow.

Many signs around town say that Casterton is the birthplace of the Australian Kelpie...hence the kelpie sculpture outside the Town Hall.
