Day 11 - Goroke

A very slow start to the day on our 56th wedding anniversary. Really enjoyed camping on the Wimmera River so no hurry to leave.

The first  4  photos were taken there and the other 2 at Nhill where we had a very late morning tea at a Vietnamese cafe. Great food!

Then through to Kavina for painted silo viewing...

Kavina also have painted sheep all over town. They all have an ear tag with a QR code for info. Here are just a few of them...

Had lunch at Kavina. Then we headed south as we were very close to the SA border and more solos at Goroke...

And some close ups...

We are staying at Goroke in a small area with power and water for $20.

Tomorrow we plan for Nelson on the coast near the SA border. That finishes the painted silos for now.

Next weekend is a long weekend in Vic and we had difficulty getting a site along the coast but did get a booking for 4 nights at Port Fairy as their annual Folk Festival for the long weekend was cancelled due to Covid restrictions. We will be there next Thursday.
