Day 44 - Terry Smith Lookout, Three Rivers

Left Normanton at 10am and no towns at all today as we travelled 300km to a free camp on the Burke Development Road.

GPS tells us that the area is called Three Rivers. Heaps of people staying here tonight.

Morning tea along the road and lunch was at the Burke and Wills roadhouse. We passed a huge sign this morning welcoming us to “Outback Queensland”.

A few photos from today...

The river is the Flinders.

Tomorrow we travel towards Mt Isa - not sure yet where we will stay.

Ken’s eye is still bloodied and bruised. Not paining but getting a bit sensitive.
