Day 29 - Sandstone

Had a great feed last night at the miners mess. A huge choice of everything so we both filled up with drinks, main meal, desserts, coffee etc.

About 150 km today to Sandstone...

Was still very windy but this time we had a tailwind. As we got closer to Sandstone the flowers started again and we read last night that there are lots of flowers around this area. We thought that we may have been too early but because of early rain the season has already started. Read also that the wreath flowers are coming this year so should see them in about 3 days.

Arrived here for lunch - then went walking. The lady from the Info Centre went walking with us to let us into the local Church and see the stained glass window and also another old house the local Council are maintaining as part of the local history.

Faye found another vehicle to try out! Its on display outside the hotel. Then back at the caravan park Faye did some activities (the truth is its only a pose!).

Will look around the area tomorrow as we are here for 2 nights.
