A great fun day with the annual Henley-On-Todd regatta at The Alice.
It started with a parade up the mall. This is one float...
And then on to the fun & races on the Todd River...
They had all sorts of events - boats of all sizes - skiing - toboggans - rowing - cycling - greasy pole - sand shoveling - this is the Bath Tub derby...
We had a very healthy lunch - here is Faye enjoying hers...
This event has been held for over 50 years and was only cancelled once when there was actually water in the river. We spent a few hours there and really enjoyed the fun. Huge crowds.
On the way back to the van we went up the lookout to check over the town...
Then went back at sunset...
