Day 3 Indian Pacific someone on the Nullarbor..

We both had a great nights sleep last night and up for breakfast at 6.30am. This was the scenery as we awoke..there were sand dunes for a long time..

To get to the Restaurant car we have to walk through 7 carriages so plenty of exercise.

This is the lounge car at 6.30am..

And then to breakfast...

The countryside changed dramatically as we started across the Nullarbor Plain..

Had a stop at Cook and we were able to get out for about 45 mins. A very interesting place with heaps of history..this was the old school..

It is a long day - although a few stops & they tell you about each place & it's history. They have a good communication system. The meals are all at least 3 courses and the food is great. The time zones are changing as we come west but the train has it's own "train time" to make it easier. We are having dinner in at 6.30 pm (train time) before we arrive in Kalgoorlie later this evening - have about 3 hours there so will go for a walk...

We arrive in Perth about 9.15am Perth time tomorrow morning which is 12.15pm NSW time.
