Not a good nights sleep last night - trains are a bit rocky & noisy!!
Then an early rise to see the sun rise over Lake Menindee..
After getting dressed went to the Lounge Car for pastries and coffee..
Arrived at Broken Hill about 6.30 so went for a walk before boarding again for breakfast..
The country changed then and this is typical of the South Australia bush!!
The meals on the train are very good and we have met some lovely people to share our meals with.
At present we are in Adelaide where it is a 3 hour stopover. We were going to go for a walk but it is very HOT today - about 40 degrees so staying in the terminal having drinks and ice cream!!!!
Getting the blog done early - leaving here at 6.40pm and start across the Nullarbor tonight. We get to Kalgoorlie tomorrow evening.
I agree the train is a bit rocky between Sydney & Broken Hill. love G
