That is after we cleaned up the water in the van. It rained a fair bit last night and when we got up some of the seat cushions were really wet and water still dripping from the roof hatch. It seems that water had pooled on the roof because of the way the van was sitting and had found a way in. Adjusted the front of van a little and heaps of water ran off and the drips stopped. Something to get fixed when home.
Mt Buffalo National Park is fairly close to Bright and first walk was to a couple of waterfalls...

The King Parrot was flying around and came right up to near us.
Next stop was to the historic chalet and nearby lookouts...

Morning tea there.
Then on towards The Horn which is the summit of Mt Buffalo. Passed Lake Catani on the way. Some magnificent views along the way...

We were able to drive to within a km of the summit and then a pretty steep climb to get to the top. Mostly steep steps but we made it!!
These photos were taken at the summit...

Had lunch at Dingo Dell where a cafe is but was closed on Mondays!!
These photos were taken coming from the summit...

Did a walk on the way and Faye nearly stood on the snake in photo above.
Arrived back at the van around 4pm. More mountains tomorrow.
