Left Beechworth around 9.45am and it was only 60km today so took our time. Had morning tea at Myrtleford...

The first photos are of last nights sunset over Lake Sambell. The 3rd photo is a tobacco kiln at our morning tea spot alongside the river.
Once we passed Myrtleford the mountains were coming into view again as we reentered the High Country. The last one is Mt Buffalo.
Arrived at Bright about 11.30am and following lunch we walked to the main street (very close to the park) over the bridge over Morses Creek and went to the Info Centre. Had a look around the shops and finished with an ice cream.

Some of the trees are just starting to turn to autumn colors but we are a little early for that. The last 2 photos are the Ovens River.
We are here for 4 nights. Tomorrow the plan is Mt Buffalo...
