Oman Adventure

Well the time has almost come for Faye and I to start our adventure to Oman. As you most of you know we won this trip through Readers Digest which is valued at $10,000.

It includes return air flights plus accommodation in Muscat the capital of Oman. Also included are all breakfasts, some lunches on the 3 days of tours as well as airport transfers.

Our accomodation is at Shanghri La Barr resort (Al Waha section) which is on the coast south of Muscat. Will be nice to stay in a 5 star resort - in a superior Sea View room with balcony...the picture below is the resort...

We fly out of Sydney tomorrow night at 9.40pm and fly to Kuala Lumpur with Malaysia Airline. We arrive about 4.30am and then fly to Muscat with Oman Air leaving at 9.35am and arriving Muscat at 12.20pm on Monday.

We leave Muscat on Monday, 21st and fly to Singapore then back to Sydney with Singapore Airlines, arriving back in Sydney at 10.25am on the Tuesday.

We are just about packed and ready to go. Getting a train to the airport tomorrow.

Will try and do the blog each day, assuming the resort has wifi.
