Did approx 310km today with only 1 small town, Greenvale - the photo of the hotel is meaningful to Slim Dusty fans. Not much traffic and hardly any trucks - previous times there were heaps of mine trucks. Had morning tea at a rest area and a Council cleaner said there were now only 2 trucks a day from the mine to Townsville. The first photo is last nights sunset.
Had lunch at The Lynd roadhouse.
Tonight we are camped in a large gravel pit about 60km from Mt Garnet with approx 7 other vans so far.
Only about 150 km to Faye's brothers so will be there tomorrow
