Only about 150 km today to arrive at our North Qld destination. This is Quinola Lakes camping centre which is located on a dairy farm near Malanda on the Atherton Tablelands. It is a beautiful spot and Faye's brother Kevin and his wife Pat are the caretakers. We will be staying here for a month or so. Many of you will have seen photos of this area in some previous years so sorry if you feel you have seen some before!
The main town we came through today was Ravenshoe which is the highest town in Queensland and the road north is the highest road in the state. All of a sudden the grass has become green and the misty tablelands weather was around! We had a look at Millstream Falls on the way through.
