Well - Faye survived the 3 caves…she probably wont admit it but she seemed to enjoy the day!
We did a cave first up which was with a ranger.

Loved this cave - access was with stairs & exit in a different place.
The exit was at the cafe so morning tea was enjoyed before we went to the visitors centre to check out the diorama.

This area is all about animal fossils etc & they have discovered 1000’s of fossils & bones etc. Most of which are now extinct. The last cave we did was only discovered in 1969 & was filled with fossils & the experts are still extracting them.
The caves are a World Heritage Area & they say that it is one of the most important places in the world to understand past history of creatures living on the earth.
Then did our 2nd cave which was a self guided one.

Then we went into Naracoorte to check out The Sheep’s Back Museum.

By then it was lunch time so Maccas it was today.
After a rest did the final cave with a ranger - only 4 on the tour so he let us into 2 places that normal tours don’t visit.

Back to the van by 4.30. Faye says no more caves - EVER..

Leaving here in the morning and into Victoria. Casterton is the plan.
