Most of today was spent at Monarto Safari Park….a very large open plain zoo & is said to be the largest safari outside Africa.
The travel around was by bus (you could walk - over 20km so not for us) - there were 7 stops where you could get out at viewing platforms. The bus did travel through the various zones so you did get close to the animals.
The 2 elephants were those that came from Taronga Zoo recently.
Had morning tea at the cafe before we started then more food at stop 2. A late bite to eat on return to the visitor centre.
We did enjoy the day - there for 5 1/2 hours.
Still staying at Murray Bridge tomorrow - basically a rest day!
