Been in 3 states today. In NSW for a few kms - then into Vic for around 100km - then into South Australia. Tonight we are at Waikerie at a free camp alongside the painted silos.
Left Wentworth around 9.30 & had morning tea along the road. Most of the way we had rain but it fined up as we got towards Waikerie. Arrived about 2pm for lunch.
As we entered SA had to go through a quarantine checkpoint…..they were very thorough (opened glove box, centre console, rear of Izzy & opened all containers, in van - fridge & freezer, all cupboards, griller). We had disposed of some fruit in a dump 5 kms before checkpoint & yesterday cooked most of the fruit.
After eating had a look at the silos and did the Cliff Top Walk…
Only 1 night here and tomorrow to Burra.
