Day 40 - Croydon

A nice quiet night last night & left the camp around 9.30am…



Faye did do some rock shopping & I think she smuggled some into Izzy.

We were at Georgetown for morning tea…





There were lots of kapok trees long the way - at this stage they were in flower. Georgetown have done a sculpture of a seed pod opening - 2nd photo above.

 Next stop was the historic Cumberland chimney and the adjoining lagoon.


Was nice to see 3 brolgas.

Lunch stop was at Gilbert River and then onto Croydon.



The lady at the Tourist office took the above photo for us.



Tonight we are staying at the Rodeo grounds (cost $5). 

Tomorrow off towards Normanton.
