Day 20 - Cornish Creek (Nat Buchanan Bridge)

Left Lara Wetlands around 9.30 and some photos on the way out…

Only about 40 kms to Barcaldine for a look around and morning tea (at the Bakery?).

The Tree of Knowledge was involved with the start of the Australian Labor Party.  And the 5th photo was part of the Great Shearers Strike…

Of course now we have gone over the Tropic of Capricorn so we are now in the “tropics”.

Next brief stop was at Aramac (stayed here 3 years ago & did all the tourist stuff.

Few bulls around….and the above are only some.

Then onto Cornish Creek (dry) where we are camped for the night near the Nat Buchanan Bridge.

Tomorrow onto Hughenden…

You will be reading this one day late as no mobile reception tonight.
