Day 10 - Jondaryan Woolshed

Left Toowoomba at 10am with first stop at Oakey for morning tea. Then onto the Australian Army Flying Museum just outside town at the Army Aviation Centre.

Then just a small trip to the Jondaryan Woolshed where we are staying 2 nights. They have a caravan park alongside as well as a village which we will check out tomorrow. This afternoon had a look at the Woolshed which was built in 1861with capacity for 52 blade shearers and was the biggest and grandest in the world. Could keep 3,000 sheep under cover and could handle 250,000 sheep per season.

Half of the woolshed is now used for functions and is heritage listed.

Just a few other photos of today…
