Day 1 of holiday to Eastern Victoria - Belanglo State Forest

Today was the start of a 5 week holiday to Eastern Victoria - mainly spending sometime round the Gippsland area. Initially going to Tumut to catch up with friends then across to Cooma and down into Victoria.

Left home around 8.30am with morning tea at Hawkesbury River (Faye was delighted to see a mobile coffee/food van!)

Then through Sydney via NorthConnex tunnel, M2 & M7 to arrive at Belanglo State Forest around 1.30pm. That was enough travel for first day so a relaxing afternoon…

This is a lovely camp place about 5kms off the Hume Highway. A few campers here tonight.

Tomorrow the plan is Jugiong - will probably have a look around Yass - one of our previous places of residence.
