Day 8 - Watson Park, Dakabin

Today was spent on the Redcliffe Peninsula which is just east of where we are camped.

First stop was over the long bridge on the Houghton Highway in Moreton Bay…

Then to Woody Point to walk the jetty - which then gave us a reward for a lovely morning tea at a nearby cafe…

The just up the road was a coastal arboretum and the nearly wreck of the HMQS Gayundah.

Then up the coast to Redcliffe and another jetty walk…

Redcliffe was very busy with heaps of eateries. Had a walk to Bee Gees Way which features all things Bee Gees as they grew up here…

They play all their music 24 hours a day!

Then to Scarborough for lunch - fish & chips in the park with heaps of Ibis…

On the way back checked out a painted water tower…

Passed a huge Westfield Shopping Centre coming back so a visit and then to a nearby Cosco to give Izzy a drink.

Tomorrow going west to a National Park.
