We were going to visit the Buderim Ginger Factory whilst here but then realised it is right alongside the M1 so was easy to pull in on the way through. Ended up spending over 3 hours to include morning tea, then a factory tour & tasting, followed by a train ride then to finish up with lunch. Ken had a ginger pork sausage roll. They seem to put ginger with pork in lots of things.
Ken eats naked ginger regularly but it was more expensive than in supermarkets at home. But there is far more products than we see at home - they said more likely to find them in independents like IGA.
Arrived at our park at 3pm & spending 4 nights here.
