Left Sandra’s place around 9am with morning tea at a rest area along the M1. Came back via Coffs Harbour & then the M1 to Brunswick Heads with no towns at all along the highway so although we did 260km we were here by lunchtime.
Whilst building this new highway they put indigenous murals on the bridges over the highway. Here are some of them…
This afternoon we had a quick look around the town and did a walk along the breakwater.
The town is packed as it is a long weekend in Queensland. This park is out of town along the river and the parks in town are booked out.
Staying here for 2 nights.
