Day 1 of holiday to Sunshine Coast - Nambucca Heads

Today was the first day of holiday to Queensland and the first time that “Izzy” Isuzu towed our van on a holiday. So all future reference to our 4WD will be “Izzy”. Percy has been retired to my nephew…

Left home at 9am with morning tea and lunch at rest areas along the way as Highway 1 does not pass through any towns along the way. Arrived at Nambucca around 3pm and we have a riverfront site.

Izzy handled the trip with no fuss and very happy with the handling and towing capability. 

 

 

The reason we are staying here is to catch up with Faye’s cousin & wife - Noel & Ruth Milson - which will be tomorrow. Staying here for 2 nights.
