Day 45 - Tootool

Well when you look at the heading you will have to check where Tootool is - we had never heard of it until today!

Had a coffee with Vicki before leaving Lake Hume this morning. Left around 10.30am and today was mostly about painted water towers - 3 to be seen today.

First up was Walla Walla which was only recently completed…

We really liked this one.

A few km’s from town was Morgans Lookout…

Faye was content with letting Ken climb to the top lookout - fairly easy as steel steps have been installed. Great view from the top as you can see 360 degrees.

A bushranger Dan Morgan used the rock in the 1800’s - a great place to watch for travellers and the Police…

Next stop was at Yerong Creek…

This is also a fairly new one and is said to reflect the history of that area.

Had lunch at Yerong Creek and then onto Milbrulong…

We were going to The Rock rec ground tonight but came across this rest area at Tootool so decided to stay here. One other van here.

The locals look after the facilities and even the tables had fresh flowers and a tablecloth. A well established garden was here too.

Here are a few photos taken along the way today…

Tomorrow possibly Grenfell - but could be somewhere else!
