Day 42 - Lake Hume Bowna

A nice quiet night at Benalla but the rain started again just as we were leaving town and continued until Wangaratta where we met up with an old friend Daniel Collins who moved from Newcastle a couple of months ago and is in care at St Johns Wangaratta.  He is very happy there as he came from Victoria originally and has family down this way.

As we left town had a look at their painted water tower…

Bought morning tea at a little bakery near Danny’s home and it was one of the best coffees we have had this trip!

The only other stop was into Wodonga to buy Percy a drink. Cheapest petrol this trip - $ 1.51 a litre.

Then onto Lake Hume where Faye’s niece is currently managing the park.

Some photos from today.

We are here for 3 nights.
