Day 34 - Narrung

Left Victor Harbor around 10am after giving Percy a big drink…

First stop was Strathalbyn where morning tea was a compulsary stop at Strath Corner Bakery (where else!).

A quick look around town and then onto Wellington where we crossed the Murray River via a ferry.

The bike sculpture is an interesting one in its construction and it is a tribute to Ken Blake who was a famous bike rider and who was killed in a Isle of man race in 1981. He grew up in Strathalbyn.

From Wellington to Narrung after crossing another ferry on Lake Alexandrina which is part of the Coorong.

We are camped near the ferry in a lovely spot…

Before setting up camp we visited an indigenous community nearby to look at the local Church which is featured on the $50 note.

Some other photos of Raukkan…

Tomorrow to Robe…
