Day 8 - Point Turton

Went and viewed the projection onto the Wallaroo silos last night. Was very good and you just sat in the car & listened to the audio on fm radio. Went for about 30 minutes and included some history of Wallaroo as well as info on copper usages. This is called the Copper Coast…

It was also a nice sunset over the Spencer Gulf. This morning left around 9.30am and went to Port Victoria for morning tea…

Some photos along the way today…

Most of these last photos were taken at Minlaton. The airman was Captain Harry Butler and his plane “Red Devil”. He was a decorated pilot in WW1 - he was born at Minlaton and died near there in an aircraft accident in 1924.

Tonight we are at Point Turton and will be here for 2 nights.
