Day 1 of trip to South Australia and Kangaroo Island. First night at Mendooran

Left home just before 9am with morning tea at Jerrys Plains. A couple of stops along the way - Battery Rock and silos at Merriwa and Dunedoo.

Lunch at Cassilis Park and tonight at a free camp alongside the Castlereagh River at Mendooran.

We had seen all todays painted silos previously but will put up some photos for those who may not have seen them.

It was a warm sunny day today and even had to use the car air con during the day. Lots of water around here and had minor flood a few days ago.

Nice stopover tonight and tomorrow we expect to be somewhere close to Cobar.
