Day 27 - Warren

A slow start this morning and first stop was a coffee shop that we had read about but wasn’t open over the weekend. It is run by Catholic Care to provide training for young people and the profits to help the underprivileged  of Bourke. They charge normal cafe prices - and use the profits to provide assistance. Lots of customers this morning and also sell gifts.

Finally left Bourke around 11am with the next stop at Byrock to look at the Rock Holes which are sacred to indigenous people.

Then had lunch at Girilambone and then onto Nyngan. Ken lived there in 1960/1 as a young  banker so had to take photos of some of his memories…

Other photos round town…

Tonight we are at Warren alongside the Macquarie river.

Didn’t realise that Warren had a painted water tower…came across it by accident.

And some close ups…

Along the way today some photos of nature!

Tomorrow the target is Cassilis.
