Day 8 Barambah Bush Park

A pretty good feed last night at the Kulpi Hotel. Only 4 people eating and our T Bone’s were very nice!

Earlier had a brief walk around the very small town and Faye found one of her favourite fences…

We left Kulpi around 9.30 and onto the Maidenwell Trading Post for morning tea.

The Trading Post is well known and also for it’s home made pies. As it was only 10.45 we still bought 2 to eat later for lunch (they put them in a bag to retain heat).

Then onto Nanango past mines and power stations - then to Kingaroy and of course Faye had to buy peanuts…

The trip then went via Wondai and Murgon to our camp for next 2 nights.

This park is about 8km from Murgon and very rustic.

The King Parrots welcomed us as soon as we set up and were eager for a feed.

The park feeds the birds at 4pm and here are some photos…

A rest day tomorrow - perhaps a bush walk and reading!
