Day 2 - Uralla

A nice sleep in this morning and left Werris Creek around 10.30am. Only 45km to Tamworth so went to Oxley lookout for morning tea. We hadn’t been up there before and Percy and van handled it OK.

Nice views from the lookout and there was a painted water tower to photograph - the only downside was a steep climb to it. Only about 200m but handled it OK. NO FALLS - but Faye was very slow coming down - had our trek poles! 

Then onto Moonbi for lunch. Lots of roadworks after Tamworth. A quick look at Thunderbolt’s Rock coming to Uralla and arrived at Faye’s sisters place around 3.30pm.
