Day 64 - Cunnamulla

A very cold night next to the Paroo - 1o - certainly some more stuff put on the bed during the night!

But a nice sunny warm day today.

This morning an Egret was entertaining us…

Then a spoonbill came along as well as can be seen below. Went into town around 10.30 and had coffee at the General Store. Also visited Paroo Patch across the road - that was a little expensive - see next photo…

Also bought a kangaroo skin bag. An old couple run the business and they make all they sell. He does leather stuff and she the quilts. Faye couldn’t pass up the quilt.

Ken is with a Diprotodon - you may remember at Eromanga we saw the skeleton of one at the Museum called Kenny. They used Kenny’s skeleton as a guide to make the above sculpture. So another photo with Kenny (any likeness?). Eulo also have annual lizard racing. It’s on this Sunday…

Next stop was Paddabilla Bore…

And then to Cunnamulla where we are spending 2 nights. The park is outside town and right on the Warrego River.

Had to almost stop for the emus!

Later this afternoon had a quick look at the nearby Cunnamulla weir.

Some photos at the weir and in the caravan park.
