As you will see Muttaburra also has many sculptures. Many of them are done by the same lady as did the Aramac Sculpture Trail.
Guess you have noticed that Dinosaurs have a big impact in this town. A dinosaur now called “Muttaburrasaurus” was discovered here in 1963 and was almost a complete skeleton. That breed is named after the town. There are copies of it all over town.
They have recently built an Interpretive Centre with a replica which is one of the photos above.
Muttaburra is only a small town but looks good. Had lunch at the local shop/cafe and the food was really good.
The last photo was a bug on our windscreen! Not a bad looking bug.
Muttaburra is the Centre of Qld as shown in a couple of photos.
When we got back to Aramac noticed that part of Percy was just hanging off the front. Guess the many years of life had paid a price with heads of screws coming through the alloy of bull bar.
The guy in the van next door helped with some washers and tools to help fix it. All secure now. He is a Christian and trade was panel beater…
Tomorrow just hanging around Aramac…
