Day 13 - Minnamoolka (Kennedy Dev Road)

Ken had a unsettling sleep last night so we were both fast asleep at 9am when Ken’s medicine alarm went off.

So we were on our way by 10am from Fletcher Creek with morning tea along the way and arriving at Greenvale in time for lunch.

Lunch was at The Three Rivers Hotel…

The last photo is the modern salt and pepper shakers!

The hotel features Slim Dusty and Stan Coster who wrote/sung a song called The Three Rivers hotel about a railway being built to Greenvale.

Then had a brief visit to the Oasis Roadhouse at The Lynd for loo stop and an ice cream…

The little room is the bar! It is the smallest in Australia. The mobile shop was also there so the locals were there to get food and fruit/veggies.

Then onto the Kennedy Development Road for a roadside stop with about 190km to Quinola Lakes tomorrow.
