Holiday to North Qld - Winter 2021

Well the time has almost come to set off for an extended trip to North Qld. The plan is to leave this Thursday and slowly travel inland to the Atherton Tablelands where Faye’s brother and wife live at Quinola Lakes. Have a look at the website: quinolalakes.wordpress.com

All this is provided the Qld border is still open on Saturday when we will arrive at the Goondiwindi border crossing. Just means to keep Covid out of this area until then…

All the family and quite a few others have received an email of any blog postings in the past. Google has stopped providing this service so we are trusting that a different system works. We have tested it with our own emails and seems to be OK. So we have entered any email addresses that used the old system and we will see whether you get this blog post. We are using Mailchimp and they send out emails around 7pm if there had been any new blog posts.

Staying away from the coast as it will be so busy. After Atherton we are going to Cooktown for a week and then back to Quinola Lakes for a time then returning home via western Qld and Bourke. Should be home sometime September…(different answer depending on whether you ask Faye or Ken!)
