Day 31 - Snowy River near Marlo

Left Port Albert at 9am for a short trip to Yarram which is now known as Heesco town after an artist that had done heaps of murals for the town.

Heesco has done quite a few painted silos and we love his work. He was the artist doing the Harden silos on the 3rd day of our holiday. He moved to Australia 20 years ago from Mongolia to study art.

We spent quite a while walking (and stopping at the BAKERY for morning tea) after getting a map of the locations. Here are some of them (not all as some were inside businesses that weren’t open). The first two are our favourites.

And some photos around town...

Lunch was at Stratford on the Avon River! And then onto Lakes Entrance where there are many wood sculptures to honour WW1 service.

Tonight we are free camped alongside the Snowy River near Marlo where the river meets the sea...

Some photos of todays journey. About 260km...

Tomorrow we will be back in NSW and staying for 2 nights at Merimbula.
