Day 1 of Northern NSW loop - The Black Stump

Set out this morning for a short holiday to Northern NSW. About 20 days. We had originally planned to go into Qld but Qld stopped that!

Left home at 9.30 and had morning tea at Jerrys Plains and then lunch near Cassilis. Went into Dunedoo for a look at their new painted silos featuring Winx the famous horse who came from Dunedoo...

Then backtracked a little to go via Coolah to The Black Stump where we are camped for the night. All by ourselves at the moment.

Here is the explanation....

The country is looking exceptional seeing we are just coming out of winter. There is heaps of Canola being grown. All the farm dams are full. Here are some scenes...

The first photo is the Merriwa silos which we have highlighted in a previous trip.

Tomorrow off to Gunnedah.
